Chronic pain is pain that is long-lasting and persistent - it may occur continuously or with recurrences for at least three months. Chronic pain affects approximately 20% of the population, but there is still no effective method of treating it.  

People struggling with chronic pain also complain of a number of pain-related disorders, including: anxiety and depression, low mood, fatigue, problems with concentration. Chronic pain therefore significantly affects the patient's quality of life and prevents him from developing and achieving his goals.

How does CBD work?

CBD is a cannabinoid , a chemical compound found in the cannabis plant. has been conducted for years on its effects on humans and the potential use of the substance in the treatment of diseases and ailments.

It is already known that CBD has a positive effect on the functioning of the endocannabinoid system and creates connections with CB1 and CB2 receptors, which are scattered throughout the human body. Thanks to this, it is possible to achieve perfect body balance, i.e. homeostasis.

Although the research itself is ongoing, the results that have been determined so far indicate that CBD can effectively treat many problems, including: chronic pain.

To understand how CBD can help you deal with chronic pain, you need to explain where the pain may actually come from. While one-off episodes of pain are not a cause for concern, recurring pain can be a symptom of many more serious conditions.

When talking about chronic pain, we assume that it is often caused by inflammation and that its occurrence is also aggravated by other factors, e.g. stress. This is why it is believed that preparations containing CBD may be the answer to the needs of those who live with chronic pain every day.

  • CBD has analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties - this means that it not only relieves pain , but when used regularly, it also helps eliminate inflammation, which, if left untreated, can lead to recurrent pain episodes.

  • CBD reduces stress – it has been proven that CBD has a strong calming and calming effect. Thanks to this, pain attacks will occur less frequently, and when they do occur, controlling them will be much easier.

CBD dosage

The effect of CBD depends on individual predispositions, so each time the dose should be selected for a specific case. The first effect should occur after about a month of regular use of the CBD preparation.
