From crop to dried - how many grams of marijuana can be collected from one bush

From crop to dried – how many grams of dried marijuana can be harvested from one bush?

to the question of how many grams of dried marijuana can be collected from one bush , but we will present selected variables that may affect marijuana yields and the final amount of dried marijuana from a given plant. It must be remembered that the method of its cultivation and the conditions that will be provided to it are not the only factors influencing the final quantity of the product.

The goal of every hemp breeder is to provide maximum growth conditions, which will also result in maximizing crops, i.e. increasing the amount of dried herb from one plant. The best conditions for growing marijuana are those that take into account all the factors necessary for the development of the bush. Moreover, there are many recommendations for specific plant species.

Good conditions translate into the effectiveness of marijuana cultivation

Growing marijuana is similar to many other crops - much depends on the plant variety (e.g. autoflowering varieties usually produce smaller buds compared to photoperiod varieties), but also on the care taken in the cultivation itself. By taking care of marijuana cultivation we mean the quality of fertilizers used, methods of providing light, the ideal amount of water, CO2 concentration, trimming the marijuana bush or the so-called training that, if done properly, can bring rich harvests. Fortunately, marijuana is not a capricious plant and after correcting certain factors, we can increase its yield even twice.

In controlled crops, breeders use various computational methods to help plan harvest efficiency. In amateur farming, it's more about predicting the future and learning by trial and error. However, the approximate effect will depend on the breeder's involvement.

The specific gravity of the crop may vary from bush to bush. We can assume that a single plant can produce on average about 1000 grams of wet buds, which translates into about 180 grams of dried buds.

Indoor marijuana or outdoor marijuana?

The cultivation location is another variable that, in combination with the previously mentioned factors, affects the efficiency of the marijuana harvest. Bushes grown indoors are less effective, while outdoor marijuana allows for higher yields.

This is related to exposure to light and appropriate conditions for the growth of the root system - plants in outdoor production have the ability to root solidly, which favors the acquisition of nutrients from the soil and their upward growth. During vigorous growth, they are able to produce more buds.

How many grams of marijuana can be harvested from one bush?

In indoor breeding, you must take into account that the yield from one bush may be between 50 and 250 grams of dried herb , while in outdoor production, the harvest of marijuana may yield from 100 grams to 350 grams of dried herb .

It is worth remembering that these are approximate values and, as we mentioned earlier, it is difficult to calculate their final result taking into account all the variables.
