Since CBD-based oils have taken the market by storm and gained so much popularity, there are bound to be a lot of questions in your mind. What is it actually? Does it really work?
Does it work like marijuana and what if you get addicted? Don't worry, actually everyone asks themselves exactly the same questions at the beginning - it's perfectly normal!
Instead of scouring the Internet for answers, we've got you covered with all the most important information in one place - because you'll need more time to choose the right product than we will to convince you that it's really worth it!
CBD - what exactly is it and do I really need it?
It took some time and the research is still ongoing, but scientists have discovered the endocannabinoid system (ECS) in our body. Its main function is to maintain homoestasis, or general internal equanimity. And it's not about zen and tranquility (although it definitely helps with that, too!), but overall well-being and physical health. Cannabinoid receptors are scattered throughout the body, though most are found within the nervous system.
Unfortunately - our body cannot produce endocannabinoids "in stock" and there are times when we simply don't have enough. Therefore, it is worth supplementing these deficiencies by using CBD-based preparations - such as the most popular CBD oils.
How does it actually work?
One would like to say that "it's simple," but as with any process in the body, it's actually quite complicated. In the simplest terms, we can say that CBD replaces naturally occurring endocannabinoids in your body and provides a state of homoestasis. T
o definitely more important than you might think, because the ECS chip is responsible for a really wide variety of processes, such as:
- regulation of the body's immune responses
- general well-being
- appetite and metabolism
- quality of sleep
- cardiovascular functions
Is CBD legal?
YES!
And that's completely. Both the cultivation of hemp seeds, from which CBD is obtained, and the sale of CBD-based products are permitted and fully legal in Poland. Much of the controversy, of course, stems from lack of adequate knowledge and information - CBD and THC are two completely different substances. While THC has very high psychoactive effects, CBD is safe, not addictive and does not put you in a state of psychosis.
CBD oil dosage - how much is a safe dose and can CBD be overdosed?
Let's establish one thing at the outset - you cannot overdose on CBD. There are no studies that show that an overdose is possible and that it carries serious health consequences. If you take far too much oil, you might just feel poorly, that's all. Dosage, on the other hand, depends on individual needs and expectations.
It is assumed that the general dose used is in the range of 10-15 mg per day.
The use of CBD oil always starts with the lowest dose, to gradually increase it if necessary.
What, then, is the optimal dose of CBD?
One at which you begin to feel a marked improvement in your overall well-being. What does this mean? Usually, the first thing you notice is an improved quality of sleep and a feeling of inner peace. If you feel better, you've most likely just managed to find the right dose for you.
