Access to marijuana in the Czech Republic and financial penalties
The cost of marijuana cannot omit such an important topic as legal regulations regarding its possession, because in the Czech Republic, possession of marijuana for personal use is decriminalized, which means it is not a crime, but an administrative offense. This applies to adult possession of marijuana up to 10 grams or cultivation of up to 5 plants for personal use. In such cases, this may result in a fine of up to EUR 600 .
Please remember that bringing illegal marijuana into the Czech Republic from abroad is not allowed . Under Czech law, possession of large amounts of drugs, their sale or production are severely punished.
Importing marijuana into the country without the appropriate permits may be considered a serious violation of the law, resulting in severe legal consequences, including imprisonment.
Another situation is possession of marijuana purchased with a prescription in Poland. People traveling from Poland to the Czech Republic and possessing legal marijuana must have the consent of the Provincial Sanitary Inspectorate.

Legal CBD products with THC below 1% ( in Poland up to 0.3% ) are also available in stores. Above this THC value, black market cannabis is already available. The price of purchasing marijuana from outside the official circulation is PLN 35-55 per gram .
The Czech Republic is currently working on making marijuana available for recreational purposes. The planned changes would take place within the next two years .
