Verbena is a broad-spectrum herb. It can be used as an analgesic (headache, toothache), relaxant (painful PMS), expectorant, immune-strengthening agent, and diuretic. It calms the nervous system and will help in the fight against insomnia.

Verbena is a plant that has been experiencing a real renaissance in recent years. somewhat forgotten in Poland , in Western countries such as Belgium, France, Switzerland, it is increasingly used, taking advantage of its beneficial effects on the body. There is also an increasing number of studies documenting the health-promoting properties of the herb verbena. Thanks to the content of iridoid glycosides, verbena herb has a calming and toning effect on the nervous system. Flavonoids and phytosterols have diuretic and antispasmodic properties. In addition, they participate in strengthening and sealing blood vessels. The bioactive ingredients contained in the verbena herb have a strong warming and diaphoretic effect, stimulating the immune system, therefore it is recommended to use it during flu, colds, viral infections and during reduced immunity. Iridoids have the effect of reducing the secretion of thyroid hormones. Verbena can also be used to fight high cholesterol (phytosterol content).
